About Us

1976 – Belpac has a rich heritage dating back to 1976, when it was founded as The Belbroughton Packaging Co Ltd, providing contract packing services primarily to the Midlands hardware industry from its facility in Belbroughton near Stourbridge.
1989 – In April 1989, the company was acquired by IWP International Plc Group. This brought immediate investment in expanded premises, recruitment, and the installation of advanced Illig inline vacuum forming and cutting machinery.
2007 – October 2007 marked a major milestone with the implementation of BRC Accreditation across the entire Heath Mill Road site, significantly increasing capacity and capabilities in food-related packaging.
2011 – In June 2011, Kevan Howley brought Belpac from Jeyes, with plans for growth through market expansion and strategic acquisitions. Unfortunately this was not a successful period of time, and the business was placed into administration on 5th July 2012.
2012 – Just days later, on 11th July 2012, former management team members Ian Nicholls and Ian Blunt returned to take control of the business from the administrators. Operating under the new company name BDN Packaging Ltd, they continued to trade under the well-established Belpac name.
Since then, Belpac has re-established itself on a strong foundation, continuously investing in the latest thermoforming and ancillary equipment. These investments ensure that we remain competitive and deliver the most efficient, high-quality packaging solutions to our customers.
