Food packaging

With our accreditation to BRC/IOP we offer a full service to the Food markets including packaging for Fresh Foods, Bakery and Confectionery. Many of our packs can be seen on the shelves of all the leading Supermarkets including Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Asda and Waitrose and include both Clampack and trays for excellent presentation of products.

A visit to the local supermarket clearly demonstrates the many attributes plastic thermoformed packaging has to offer in the use of food display, protection and preparation. In the Bakery section a variety of thermoformed containers are utilised for cakes both individual slices and full cakes as well as biscuits. Self service salads are another popular location for thermoformed packaging whilst the traditional sandwich pack still performs well. The fresh food section displays a range of fruit and vegetables in thermoformed containers so shoppers can see the freshness, whilst a variety of shelf-stable, oven ready and microwaveable choices are in thermoformed packages.

Belpac's thermoformed food packaging solutions are all produced in a variety of materials including APET, RPET, PVC, HIPS and PLA. The thermoforming equipment will efficiently process all of these materials and the purchasing team ensure only those materials produced by reputable manufacturers are used.
