Belpac takes the issue of the effects packaging has on the environment very seriously.

The role of packaging and the environment has been a hot topic for a number of years and over that time the emphasis has moved from the initial concerns regarding landfill to todays emphasis on reducing co2 emissions.

Belpac takes this issue very seriously and understands the need to preserve our precious resources in order for them to be enjoyed by future generations.

Packaging plays an important role in protecting the products, increasing their shelf llfe and displaying the products effectively in order for consumers to make correct purchasing decisions. We have to balance the needs of our customers and the environment and to this end we use recycled material for the majority of our packaging which consists of both post consumer and industrial waste however, we are actively working towards using completely biodegradable materials in the future that will greatly improve the effects that packaging has on the environment and early stage industry trials are very encouraging.
